숫양 모양의 머리로 별명을 얻은 사케타의 아라한 장로로, 안자나와나에서 부처님의 설법을 듣고 승단에 들어갔으며, 전생에는 위빳시 부처님 시대에 고타마 산 근처에서 은둔자로 연꽃을 바쳤다.

An Arahant thera of Sāketa nicknamed for his ram-shaped head, who entered the Order after hearing the Buddha teach at Añjanavana and, in a past life under the Buddha Vipassī, offered lotus flowers as a hermit near Mount Gotama.
