バーラーナシーの庭園で、イシパタナの古い名であったらしい。シキー仏の初転法輪の地であり、すべての仏が同じ場所で初めて説法したと言われるからである。

A park in Bārāṇasī, apparently an old name for Isipatana, since it was the site of the Buddha Sikhī’s first discourse, all Buddhas being said to teach their first discourse in the same place.

インダパッタ近郊の庭園で、かつてダナンジャヤ・コーラヴィヤの所有であり、仏陀の時代にも存在していた。ラッタパーラ長老がそこに滞在したと伝えられる。
