바라나시의 공원으로, 이시빠따나의 옛 이름으로 보인다. 이곳은 시키 부처님이 최초 설법을 하신 장소였는데, 모든 부처님이 같은 곳에서 최초 설법을 하신다고 전해지기 때문이다.

A park in Bārāṇasī, apparently an old name for Isipatana, since it was the site of the Buddha Sikhī’s first discourse, all Buddhas being said to teach their first discourse in the same place.

인다빳따 근처의 공원으로, 한때 다난자야 코라비야의 소유였으며 부처님 시대에도 여전히 존재했다. 랏타빨라 장로가 그곳에 머물렀다고 전해진다.

A park near Indapatta that once belonged to Dhanañjaya Koravya and still existed in the Buddha’s time, when the elder Raṭṭhapāla is said to have stayed there.
