Place王舎城の竹林精舎内にある林で、かつて孔雀の聖域であり、ウドゥンバリカー経を含む複数の経典が説かれた遍歴行者の園があった場所。
A grove within Veḷuvana at Rājagaha, once a sanctuary for peacocks, that housed a wanderers’ park where the Buddha taught several discourses including the Udumbarikā Sutta.
