摩揭陀国王，阿闍世的曾孙，弑父夺位后又为其子所弑；其王后跋陀（Bhaddā）去世时，他悲痛欲绝将遗体做防腐处理，后经那罗陀长老开导而释怀。

A king of Magadha, great-grandson of Ajātasattu, who killed his own father to gain the throne and was later killed by his son; overwhelmed by grief at his queen Bhaddā’s death, he had her body embalmed until the elder Nārada consoled him.
