摩揭陀國王，阿闍世的曾孫，弒父奪位後又為其子所弒；其王后跋陀（Bhaddā）去世時，他悲痛欲絕將遺體做防腐處理，後經那羅陀長老開導而釋懷。

A king of Magadha, great-grandson of Ajātasattu, who killed his own father to gain the throne and was later killed by his son; overwhelmed by grief at his queen Bhaddā’s death, he had her body embalmed until the elder Nārada consoled him.
