The Arahant celebrated for his philosophical dialogues with King Milinda, born to the brahmin Soṇuttara, who ordained under Rohaṇa, trained under Assagutta and Dhammarakkhita, and finally met the king at Sagala after a past-life aspiration to defeat him in debate.
