Nāvā Sutta
Sutta《经集》〈小品〉中的一部经,又名《法经》,佛陀在其中说明舍利弗朝着远方恩师所在方向礼敬的习惯并无不妥,因为连诸天神都敬重他,并将智者比作渡人过河的船。
A sutta of the Suttanipāta’s Cūḷa Vagga, also known as the Dhamma Sutta, in which the Buddha explains that Sāriputta’s habit of bowing toward his distant teacher’s home is fitting since even the devas revere him, comparing the wise to a ship that ferries others across.
