一位離車（Licchavī）族人，本名 Mahāli，因兔唇而被稱作 Oṭṭhaddha；經沙彌 Sīha 引薦得見佛陀，二人對話收於 Mahāli Sutta。

A Licchavī whose personal name was Mahāli but who was known as Oṭṭhaddha for his hare-lip; his conversation with the Buddha, gained through the novice Sīha’s intervention, is recorded in the Mahāli Sutta.
