JātakaA Jātaka about an idle and sneering prince, Pādañjali, whose contempt for everything disqualifies him from the throne in favor of the Bodhisatta, the royal chaplain, told of the monk Lāḷudāyī, who sneered when the two chief disciples were praised and is identified with the prince.
