  • පුනර්භවයක් හෝ කර්ම ඵලයක් නොමැති බව අදහස් කරගෙන සිටි, කුමාර කස්සප තෙරුන් සමඟ තර්ක කිරීමෙන් හික්මවා පත් කරගත් ලද, මරණයෙන් පසු පහළ දිව්‍ය ලෝකයක උපත ලද, එතැනින්ම නිසි, ගෞරවනීය ලෙස දන් දීමට උනන්දු කළ, සේතබ්‍යාවේ ප්‍රධානියෙකි.

  • A chieftain of Setabyā who held that there was no rebirth or fruit of action until debated and converted by Kumāra-Kassapa, and who, after death, was reborn among the lower gods, from where he urged proper, respectful almsgiving.
