Pāyāsi
Person舍多毘耶(Setabyā)的一位酋長,原持斷滅見,認為無來世無業果,後經拘摩羅迦葉(Kumāra-Kassapa)辯論說服而歸信,死後生於四大王天,並從天界勸人應以恭敬之心行佈施。
A chieftain of Setabyā who held that there was no rebirth or fruit of action until debated and converted by Kumāra-Kassapa, and who, after death, was reborn among the lower gods, from where he urged proper, respectful almsgiving.
