Pītha Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,讲一位林中苦行者到一户以虔诚闻名的商人家中乞食,见家中无人便悄然离去而不等候,商人归来后连忙道歉并邀他再访,此事讲给一位新出家的比丘听,他打听到哪些在家人乐善好施后,却因造访时机不当、屡屡扑空而迁怒责骂那些施主人家。
A Jātaka about a forest ascetic who, finding no one home when he seeks alms at a devout merchant’s house, quietly departs rather than wait, prompting the returning merchant to apologize and invite him back, told about a newly ordained monk who visited at the wrong hours and angrily blamed his lay supporters when he found no food left.
