Pūtimaṃsa Jātaka
Jātaka野生の山羊の群れを一頭ずつ狩っていた山犬が、最後に残った賢い山羊に自分と連れ合いの死んだふりの策略を見破られる本生話で、感官を守る必要性を比丘たちに強調するために語られた。
A birth story of a jackal who preyed on a flock of wild goats one by one until a clever survivor saw through his and his mate’s ruse of feigning death, told to the monks to impress on them the need to guard their senses.
