Pañcālacaṇḍa
Person一位天子,曾謁見祇陀林的佛陀,其偈頌經佛陀糾正後成為《般遮羅經》的由來,也被認為即是《阿吒那胝經》中受佛弟子祈請護佑的大夜叉。
A devaputta who visited the Buddha at Jetavana and, after being corrected on the nature of true mindfulness, gave his name to the Pañcāla Sutta and is also identified with a great yakkha invoked for protection in the Āṭānāṭiya Sutta.

Person鷲鳥軍那羅的前生,當時身為波羅奈城幹達梨王的國師,在王后金那羅與跛足者私通事發後出面為她說情,救她免於處死。
A previous birth of Kuṇāla, in which, as chaplain to King Kaṇḍari of Bārāṇasī, he interceded to save the queen Kinnarā from execution after her affair with a cripple was discovered.

Person拘羅尼梵授王之子,曾被大善生遣送至韋提訶王處作人質,卻被韋提訶王待若弟弟;佛陀與天子般遮羅旃陀(第一位同名者)的對話也以此名相稱。
Son of Cūḷani-Brahmadatta, sent by Mahosadha as hostage to King Videha but treated by him like a younger brother; the incident that provided the Buddha’s dialogue with the devaputta Pañcālacaṇḍa (1) is also called after his name.
