숲속 동굴에 사는 장로. 그의 흠 없는 행실이 동굴에 사는 여신을 성가시게 하여, 그녀는 후원자의 아들에게 꾀병을 부리게 해 그를 시험하려 했으나 그 계획은 도리어 실패하여, 장로는 자신의 청정함을 목도하고 기쁨에 차 아라한과를 얻었다.
