一則本生故事，講一位貧窮婆羅門虔誠禮敬一株刺桐樹而獲得樹下埋藏的寶藏；佛陀臨終時以此故事安慰哭泣的阿難，阿難即是故事中的婆羅門。

A Jātaka telling how a poor brahmin’s devotion to a Judas tree won him buried treasure, told by the Buddha on his deathbed to comfort the weeping Ānanda, who is identified with the brahmin.

一則本生故事，菩薩轉生為金鵝，勸告身為樹精的朋友及早拔除寄生的榕樹幼苗，以免日後將樹毀滅，喻示小惡亦須及早斷除。

A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, born as a golden goose, warns a tree-sprite friend to uproot a banyan seedling before it destroys his tree, illustrating that even small faults must be uprooted early.
