갠지스강의 의례적 목욕에 사용되던 나루터로, 오늘날의 알라하바드로 비정된다. 장로 밧다지가 전생에 마하파나다 왕으로 살던 시절 거주했던 물에 잠긴 궁전을 이곳에서 다시 끌어올렸다고 전한다.
