Vesāli မှ ဗြာဟ္မဏ၊ အနာဂါမီ၊ Kāraṇapālī အား ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ ဉာဏ်ပညာကို အလွန်လှပစွာ ချီးမွမ်းခဲ့ရာ ထိုသူ နောက်လိုက်ဖြစ်လာခဲ့သည်၊ အခြားတစ်ကြိမ်တွင် Licchavi တို့အား ဗုဒ္ဓအတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ထားသော အဝတ်များကို သူ့အပေါ် ရွှန်းရွှန်းချီးမြှင့်ရန် နှိုးဆွခဲ့သူ။

A brahmin of Vesāli, a Non-returner, who praised the Buddha’s wisdom so eloquently to Kāraṇapālī that the latter became a follower, and who on another occasion moved the Licchavī to shower him with garments meant for the Buddha.

ဘုရင် Brahmadatta ၏ မိဖုရား၊ ရာဇဆင်ကျွန်တစ်ဦးနှင့် သစ္စာဖောက် ကျူးလွန်သည်ကို တွေ့ရှိခံရပြီး ရာထူးဖြုတ်ချခံရသူ၊ သူမ၏ ဇာတ်လမ်းကို Kuṇāla က ပြောပြထားသည်၊ ဤအမည်တူသည် Licchavi တို့ရှေ့တွင် ဗုဒ္ဓကို ချီးမွမ်းသည့် သုတ်တရားတော်တစ်ပုဒ်ကိုလည်း ရည်ညွှန်းသည်။

The wife of King Brahmadatta who was caught in adultery with a royal groom and stripped of her rank, her tale being one told by Kuṇāla; the same name also belongs to a sutta on the Buddha’s praise before the Licchavī.
