พราหมณ์แห่งเมือง Vesāli พระอนาคามีผู้สรรเสริญพระปรีชาญาณของพระพุทธเจ้าอย่างวิจิตรแก่ Kāraṇapālī จนผู้นั้นกลายเป็นสาวก และในอีกโอกาสหนึ่งได้ทำให้เจ้าลิจฉวีหลั่งไหลถวายผ้าที่ตั้งใจจะถวายแด่พระพุทธเจ้าให้แก่ท่านแทน

A brahmin of Vesāli, a Non-returner, who praised the Buddha’s wisdom so eloquently to Kāraṇapālī that the latter became a follower, and who on another occasion moved the Licchavī to shower him with garments meant for the Buddha.

มเหสีของพระเจ้า Brahmadatta ผู้ถูกจับได้ว่านอกใจกับพนักงานเลี้ยงม้าหลวงและถูกถอดยศ เรื่องราวของนางเป็นเรื่องที่ Kuṇāla เล่าไว้ ชื่อเดียวกันนี้ยังเป็นชื่อของพระสูตรว่าด้วยการสรรเสริญพระพุทธเจ้าต่อหน้าเจ้าลิจฉวีด้วย

The wife of King Brahmadatta who was caught in adultery with a royal groom and stripped of her rank, her tale being one told by Kuṇāla; the same name also belongs to a sutta on the Buddha’s praise before the Licchavī.
