Piṅgiyānī
Person毗舍离一位已证不还果的婆罗门,曾向迦罗那波利盛赞佛陀智慧,令其归信,另一次也曾感动离车族人赠他大量衣物,转供予佛陀。
A brahmin of Vesāli, a Non-returner, who praised the Buddha’s wisdom so eloquently to Kāraṇapālī that the latter became a follower, and who on another occasion moved the Licchavī to shower him with garments meant for the Buddha.

Person梵授王之妻,因与一名马夫私通而被识破并革除王后之位,此事是拘那罗所讲述的故事之一;同名的一部经则记载了离车族人在场时对佛陀的赞颂。
The wife of King Brahmadatta who was caught in adultery with a royal groom and stripped of her rank, her tale being one told by Kuṇāla; the same name also belongs to a sutta on the Buddha’s praise before the Licchavī.
