Piṅgiyānī
Person毗舍離一位已證不還果的婆羅門,曾向迦羅那波利盛讚佛陀智慧,令其歸信,另一次也曾感動離車族人贈他大量衣物,轉供予佛陀。
A brahmin of Vesāli, a Non-returner, who praised the Buddha’s wisdom so eloquently to Kāraṇapālī that the latter became a follower, and who on another occasion moved the Licchavī to shower him with garments meant for the Buddha.

Person梵授王之妻,因與一名馬伕私通而被識破並革除王后之位,此事是拘那羅所講述的故事之一;同名的一部經則記載了離車族人在場時對佛陀的讚頌。
The wife of King Brahmadatta who was caught in adultery with a royal groom and stripped of her rank, her tale being one told by Kuṇāla; the same name also belongs to a sutta on the Buddha’s praise before the Licchavī.
