Personဗုဒ္ဓပေါ်ထွန်းပြီးနောက် အကျိုးမပြုတော့သော မန်ကတာကို လေ့လာရန် သံဃာတော်သို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခဲ့သော သာဝတ္ထိမြို့ ဗြာဟ္မဏတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သည်။ ရဟန္တာဖြစ်ခဲ့ပြီး နတ်များချစ်မြတ်နိုးရသော ရဟန်းများတွင် အထွဋ်အမြတ်ဆုံးဟု ချီးမြှင့်ခံရသော်လည်း လူတိုင်းကို ဇာတ်နိမ့်သားဟု အလေ့အထအရ ခေါ်တတ်သဖြင့် နာမည်ကျော်ကြားခဲ့သည်။
A brahmin of Sāvatthi who entered the Order to learn a spell that had ceased working after the Buddha’s appearance, attained Arahantship, and was declared foremost among monks beloved by devas, though notorious for habitually addressing everyone as an outcaste.
