比丘サミッディに仏陀の業についての教えを誤って伝え、さらに問いただした後、態度を明らかにせぬまま去った遍歴行者で、これが仏陀にサミッディの拙速な返答を咎めさせる契機となった。この出来事はマハーカンマヴィバンガ・スッタに記されている。
