ရဟန်းသမိဒ္ဓိအား ဘုရားရှင်၏ ကံဆိုင်ရာ တရားတော်ကို လွဲမှားစွာ တင်ပြခဲ့ပြီး ထပ်မံမေးမြန်းကာ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်မခံဘဲ ထွက်ခွာသွားခဲ့သော ရဟန်းလှည့်လည်သူတစ်ဦး၊ ဘုရားရှင်က သမိဒ္ဓိ၏ လျင်မြန်လွန်းသည့် အဖြေကို အပြစ်ဖော်ပြစေသည်၊ ဤအဖြစ်အပျက်ကို မဟာကမ္မဝိဘင်္ဂသုတ်တွင် မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားသည်။

A wanderer who misrepresented the Buddha’s teaching on action to the monk Samiddhi, then questioned him further before walking away noncommittally, prompting the Buddha to fault Samiddhi’s hasty reply; the episode is recorded in the Mahākammavibhaṅga Sutta.
