阿波那城的一位居士，因佛陀称他为“居士”而不悦（他自认已将财产尽数交予儿子），经佛陀开示真正的出离远不止于此，遂皈依为在家弟子。

A householder of Āpaṇa who, after being addressed simply as ‘householder’ by the Buddha and taking offence at having already renounced his wealth to his sons, learned that true renunciation means far more, and became a follower.

一位游行者，可能与上述居士波利耶为同一人，与佛陀的一番对话之后宣布皈依为佛陀弟子。

A wanderer, probably the same person as the householder Potaliya above, whose conversation with the Buddha ended with him declaring himself a follower.
