一則本生故事，講波羅奈城的一位財務官識破盜賊下毒的酒計，不予飲用，歸途又反將一軍令其自飲，是佛陀就給孤獨長者類似遭遇所說。

A birth story about the Treasurer of Bārāṇasī who outwits a gang of robbers by refusing to drink liquor they had drugged for him and later challenging them to drink it themselves, told of a similar experience of Anāthapiṇḍika.
