พระสูตรลำดับที่หนึ่งร้อยสี่สิบห้าแห่งมัชฌิมนิกาย ซึ่งพระบุณณะแห่งสุนาปรันตะได้รับพระโอวาทจากพระพุทธเจ้าเรื่องการละความเพลิดเพลินในกาม แล้วไปตั้งถิ่นฐานท่ามกลางชาวสุนาปรันตะผู้ดุร้าย สถาปนาอุบาสกจำนวนมาก และภายหลังทรงประกาศว่าท่านบรรลุความหลุดพ้นในที่สุด

The one hundred and forty-fifth discourse of the Majjhimanikāya, in which the monk Puṇṇa of Sunāparanta receives the Buddha’s teaching on renouncing sensual delight, settles among the fierce people of Sunāparanta, establishes many lay disciples, and is later declared to have attained final liberation.
