ဗုဒ္ဓ ပရိနိဗ္ဗာန်စံပြီးနောက် ဒုတိယရာစုတွင် ဇမ္ဗူဒီပတွင် ပေါ်ပေါက်ခဲ့သော ဒိဋ္ဌိအယူများဆယ့်ခုနစ်ပါးအနက် တစ်ပါးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ အန္ဓကနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းထားပြီး၊ တိဗက်စာရင်းအရ ပူဗ္ဗတောင်ပေါ်တွင် နေထိုင်ခြင်းကြောင့် ထိုအမည်ရသည်ဟုဆိုသည်။
