고따마가 출가하기 전의 아내이자 아들 라훌라의 어머니로, 경전에서는 밧다깟짜, 야소다라, 빔바 등 여러 이름으로 알려져 있다. 열여섯 살에 결혼했으며 남편이 재가 생활을 떠난 바로 그날 라훌라를 낳았다.

The wife of Gotama before his renunciation and mother of his son Rāhula, known in the texts by several names including Bhaddakaccā, Yasodharā, and Bimbā, who married him at sixteen and gave birth to Rāhula on the very day he left the household life.
