ගෝතමයන් මහාභිනිෂ්ක්‍රමණයට පෙර බිරිඳ වූ අතර පුත් රාහුල ගේ මවය. ග්‍රන්ථවල භද්දකච්චා, යශෝධරා, බිම්බා ඇතුළු නම් කිහිපයකින් හැඳින්වේ. වයස දහසයේදී විවාහ වූ අතර ගෝතමයන් ගිහිගෙය හැරදැමූ එදිනම රාහුල උපත ලැබීය.

The wife of Gotama before his renunciation and mother of his son Rāhula, known in the texts by several names including Bhaddakaccā, Yasodharā, and Bimbā, who married him at sixteen and gave birth to Rāhula on the very day he left the household life.
