おそらくナーガディーパにある聖地で、ジェータヴァナからスリランカへ持ち込まれたとされる木にまつわる。仏の遺骨がすべて最終的に菩提樹の下に集められる前、島内での最後の安置場所になると予言されている。

A shrine, probably in Nāgadīpa, associated with a tree said to have been brought from Jetavana to Sri Lanka, and foretold to be the last resting place of all the Buddha’s relics in the island before their final gathering at the Bodhi tree.
