콜리야족 마을로, 주민들은 부처님의 사리 일부를 나누어 받았으나, 후에 홍수에 휩쓸려 나가왕 마하칼라가 가져갔고, 소눗타라 장로가 그 일부를 되찾아 대탑에 봉안했다.
