Un jātaka sur un garçon, futur Bodhisatta, trompé par un médecin de village pour aller chercher un serpent qu’il prend pour un hérisson, serpent qui finit par mordre mortellement le médecin lui-même, raconté en lien avec les tentatives d’assassinat de Devadatta contre le Bouddha.

A Jātaka about a boy, later the Bodhisatta, tricked by a village doctor into fetching a snake he mistook for a hedgehog, whose bite then kills the doctor himself, told in connection with Devadatta’s attempts on the Buddha’s life.
