신들이 그를 도리천으로 데려가 삭까 자신의 영역을 칠백 천상년 동안 함께 나누게 할 만큼 덕으로 유명한 미틸라의 지극히 관대한 왕에 관한 본생담으로, 이후 지상으로 돌아와 이레 동안 막대한 보시를 베풀고 죽어 그곳에 영구히 다시 태어난다.

A birth-story about a supremely generous king of Mithilā, so renowned for his virtue that the gods brought him to Tāvatiṃsa to share Sakka’s own realm for seven hundred celestial years, before he returned to earth, distributed vast alms for seven days, and died to be reborn there permanently.
