විවාහ මංගල්‍යයකට සූදානම් කරන ලද ඌරෙකුට දෙන මහන ආහාරය ගැන ආශා කරන ගොනෙක් ගැන කියන ජාතකයකි. එම ඌරාගේ ඉරණම ආශා කළ යුත්තක් නොවන බව සොහොයුරා පැහැදිලි කරයි. ආශ්‍රිත හැඳින්වීමේ කථාවේදී එම ඌරා ආදර රෝගයෙන් පෙළෙන භික්ෂුවක් ලෙස හඳුනා ගනී.
