PersonUne confrérie monastique fondée à Pagan par Chapaṭa (Saddhammajotipāla) et ses quatre compagnons — Rāhula, Ānanda, Sīvalī et Tāmalinda — qui bénéficia d’abord du patronage royal avant de se scinder en quatre branches, chacune suivant l’un des anciens venus de Sri Lanka.
A monastic fraternity founded in Pagan by Chapaṭa (Saddhammajotipāla) and his four companions — Rāhula, Ānanda, Sīvalī, and Tāmalinda — which first enjoyed royal patronage before splitting into four branches, each following one of the elders who had come from Sri Lanka.
