Jātaka利益のために牙を切り取らせ続けた恩知らずの森番を、慈悲深い象王が何度も許し続けたが、ついにその男は貪欲の報いとして大地に飲み込まれ地獄に落ちるという本生話で、恩知らずの悪を示す。
A birth-story about a compassionate elephant king who repeatedly let an ungrateful forester saw off pieces of his tusks for profit, until the man was swallowed by the earth into hell as punishment for his greed, illustrating the evils of ingratitude.
