講述一頭獅子（菩薩）的本生故事：牠曾因克制而放過一頭野豬，後被其誤會為怯懦而下戰書，決鬥當日野豬因親族提醒渾身塗滿穢物臭氣熏天，獅子只得知難而退，雙方未傷而散。

A Jātaka about a lion, the Bodhisatta, who agreed to a fight with a boar he had spared out of restraint, only to withdraw from the challenge unharmed after the boar, warned by its kin, smeared itself with foul-smelling filth.
