깃자쿠타 산 중턱의 동굴. 부처님이 이곳에서 디가나카에게 설법하셨고, 그 설법 중에 사리풋타가 아라한과를 얻었다. 이 동굴은 멧돼지가 파헤치고 비가 씻어내어 드러났으며, 이후 숲에 사는 이가 손질하여 부처님께 바쳤다고 전해진다.

A cave on the slope of Gijjhakūṭa where the Buddha taught the discourse to Dīghanakha during which Sāriputta attained Arahantship, said to have been uncovered by a boar’s digging and rain, then furnished by a forest dweller and given to the Buddha.
