Saṅgārava Sutta
Sutta『中部』の第百経で、チャンチャリカッパのバラモン、サンガーラヴァと仏陀の対話を記録する。
The hundredth sutta of the Majjhimanikāya, recording a discussion between the Buddha and the brahmin Saṅgārava of Cañcalikappa.

Sutta毎日の沐浴で自らの過ちが洗い流されると信じるバラモン、サンガーラヴァのもとへアーナンダを伴い訪れた仏陀と、真の浄化は法によってのみ得られるという仏陀の答えを描く経。
A sutta describing the Buddha’s visit, with Ānanda, to the brahmin Saṅgārava, who believed daily bathing washed away his faults, and the Buddha’s reply that true purification comes only through the Dhamma.

Sutta心が五蓋に占められると真言は容易く忘れられると、水面に映る乱れた像の譬えで仏陀がサンガーラヴァに説き、覚支を修めることでこの障害をいかに取り除くかを説明する経。
A sutta in which the Buddha tells Saṅgārava that mantras are easily forgotten when the mind is possessed by the five hindrances, illustrated by similes of a disturbed reflection in water, and explains how cultivating the factors of enlightenment removes this obstacle.

Sutta祭祀を行うバラモンは遊行者より有用であるとサンガーラヴァが論じ、仏陀が自らの僧団の比丘たちが持つ神通力、他心通、教誡の驚異を説いて答える経。
A sutta in which Saṅgārava argues that a brahmin who performs sacrifices is more useful than a wanderer, and the Buddha responds by describing the marvels of psychic power, mind-reading, and instruction possessed by monks in his Order.

A sutta in which the Buddha tells Saṅgārava that wrong view and its companion wrong factors of the path form the “hither shore,” while their right counterparts form the “further shore.”

A sutta in which the Buddha tells Saṅgārava that taking life and other unwholesome deeds form the “hither shore,” while abstaining from them forms the “further shore.”
