  • A Lambakaṇṇa king of Sri Lanka who seized the throne by killing his predecessor Vijayakumāra, donated a parasol to the Mahā Thūpa and instituted regular alms of rice gruel, and was eventually poisoned by people angered by his frequent visits to a jambu orchard.

  • A king of Sri Lanka, also called Asiggāha, who succeeded Aggabodhi II but was overthrown by the rebel Moggallāna, fled disguised as a monk, and was captured and beheaded together with his loyal son and minister.
