A Lambakaṇṇa king of Sri Lanka who seized the throne by killing his predecessor Vijayakumāra, donated a parasol to the Mahā Thūpa and instituted regular alms of rice gruel, and was eventually poisoned by people angered by his frequent visits to a jambu orchard.
