බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ ධර්මය අධික ලෙස දැඩි යැයි නොසතුටු වූ කස්සප ගෝත්‍රික භික්ෂුවක් පිළිබඳ සූත්‍රයකි, පසුව පසුතැවිලි වී වන්දනාව පිණිස රාජගහ නුවරට උන්වහන්සේ පසුපස ගොස්, තම වරද පිළිගැනීම ගැන ප්‍රශංසාවට පාත්‍ර වුවත්, උත්සාහවන්තයන්ට පමණක් ප්‍රශංසාව සුදුසු බව සිහිපත් කරන ලදී

A sutta about a monk of the Kassapa clan who disapproves of the Buddha’s teaching as overly scrupulous, later follows him to Rājagaha in remorse to confess, and is praised for his confession though reminded that only the zealous deserve commendation.
