고행자에게 유혹당한 귀족의 딸에게서 야외에서 태어난, 유명한 논객 유행자로, 후에 부처님의 교단에 들어가 아라한이 되었다.

A wanderer and famed dialectician, born in the open to a nobleman’s daughter seduced by an ascetic, who later joined the Buddha’s Order and became an Arahant.

냐띠까에서 왓차곳따와 부처님의 사후 존재 등에 관해 기록된 대화를 나눈 유행자로, 사비야(2)와 동일 인물일 가능성이 있다.

A wanderer, possibly identical with Sabhiya (2), who held a recorded discussion with Vacchagotta at Ñātika on questions such as the Buddha’s existence after death.
