A king of Sri Lanka (77-59 B.C.) and younger brother of Duṭṭhagāmaṇī, with whom he was at war before their reconciliation, and who succeeded him on the throne, completing the Great Thūpa and rebuilding the Lohapāsāda.

A minister who gave an alms bowl of food to the monk Piṇḍapatika-tissa Thera, was rewarded by King Saddhā Tissa with a district to govern, and eventually became a Stream-winner.
