စစ်မှန်သော အောင်မြင်သည့် သမဏသည် ကိုယ်၊ နှုတ်၊ စိတ်တို့ဖြင့် မကောင်းမှု မကျူးလွန်ဘဲ အသက်မွေးသူသာ ဖြစ်သည်ဟု ပရိဗိုဇ် ဥဂ္ဂာဟမာနက ဆိုသော သုတ်ဖြစ်သည်။ ဗုဒ္ဓက ဤအဓိပ္ပာယ်ဖွင့်ဆိုချက်သည် ကလေးငယ်ကိုပင် သမဏဖြစ်စေမည်ဟု ညွှန်ကာ ငြင်းပယ်ပြီး၊ စစ်မှန်သော အောင်မြင်မှုကို အရိယမဂ်ဂင်္ဂ ရှစ်ပါးနှင့် အပြည့်အဝ ဉာဏ်နှင့် လွတ်မြောက်မှုကို ကျွမ်းကျင်ခြင်းဟု ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။

A discourse in which the wanderer Uggāhamāna claims that a truly triumphant recluse is simply one who commits no evil in deed, speech, or thought and earns a living blamelessly, a definition the Buddha dismisses by noting it would make even a helpless infant a recluse, before describing genuine attainment as mastery of the Noble Eightfold Path together with full knowledge and deliverance.
