一经讲述游方沙门郁伽诃摩那主张真正的胜利沙门只需身语意不作恶、以正当方式谋生即可，佛陀却指出照此定义连一个毫无能力的婴儿也可称为沙门，进而说明真正的成就标志在于圆满修习八正道并具足究竟的智慧与解脱。

A discourse in which the wanderer Uggāhamāna claims that a truly triumphant recluse is simply one who commits no evil in deed, speech, or thought and earns a living blamelessly, a definition the Buddha dismisses by noting it would make even a helpless infant a recluse, before describing genuine attainment as mastery of the Noble Eightfold Path together with full knowledge and deliverance.
