  • A discourse telling of a nymph’s attempt to tempt Samiddhi Thera, in which their exchange leads her to seek and receive teaching from the Buddha himself.

  • A discourse recounting Māra’s failed attempt to frighten Samiddhi Thera with a great noise, after which the Buddha explained its cause and Samiddhi boldly challenged Māra to do his worst.
