Samudda Jātaka

A Jātaka about a sea-spirit, the Bodhisatta, who assumes a terrifying shape to frighten off a greedy water-crow warning fish and birds not to drink too much lest they empty the sea — told with reference to the great greed of Upananda the Sakyan, identified with the crow.
